Why isn’t my tracking number working?

Tracking numbers can be generated by online services before the package is actually delivered to the postal service.

Once the store has delivered the package to the postal service, it can still take a few hours for the post office to scan and process the tracking information. Please allow at least 48 hours for your tracking number to work.

Typically, tracking numbers for packages shipping from abroad will not show any data until the package arrives in the destination country. This could be another reason why your tracking number is not yet working. You should allow at least 2 weeks for the package to reach your country.

Some tracking numbers actually do not show any information until after the package has been delivered, it all depends on the type of tracking the store purchased.

Of course, it could just be that the store made a typo when they sent your tracking information. You can always email them to check.
