Amazing! You have the power to choose your payment processor in your Storenvy store! You can use PayPal in your Marketplace store and your Custom Storefront.
Log into your Storenvy store, then in your Admin Panel go to the Settings menu and then the Payment Info page. Scroll down and you will see there are two steps to connect your store with your PayPal account. Make sure you click both buttons in order to connect successfully.
First let's click “Use PayPal to get PAID”.
Now you will be redirected to PayPal where you can login to your PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account yet, you can click “sign up” instead.
Yippee let's login!
Now that you logged in, you will receive a message verifying you have successfully connected to get paid!
Great! Let's go back to our admin panel to finish the next step, “Use PayPal for BILLING”.
This second half of connecting your PayPal account is also important. Due to the way PayPal is set up, this step needs to be completed so you can receive orders and payments through PayPal in your Storenvy store. You will need to use the same PayPal account for both of these steps.
You may be redirected to PayPal with a popup in your admin panel, making it much easier for you to get set up.
Log in again just as you did previously.
You are almost finished! To complete the process, click “Agree & Continue” and you are ready to rumble!
Back in the Payment Info page of your admin panel, you will see two beautiful check marks next to both of the steps you have completed. This means you have successfully connected - good job! Now you are ready to get paid through PayPal.
After you have connected, your PayPal account will ask you to grant Storenvy the following permissions:
- Use Express Checkout to process payments
- Issue a refund for a specific transaction.
- Obtain information about a single transaction.
- Search your transactions for items that match specific criteria and display the results.
You must grant Storenvy these permissions otherwise you will experience problems with orders not showing up in your dashboard. If you have already been using PayPal in your Custom Storefront, you may already have Express Checkout enabled and this step will already be completed.
