How do I get my custom domain to show as secure?

Note that if your domain was registered through Storenvy then it should automatically show as secure. If you are using a custom domain for your store that was not registered through Storenvy then you can create an account with Cloudflare and get SSL/HTTPS for free, so that your store will show as secure to your customers. Please note that at this time it is only possible to do this using Cloudflare's service (an SSL certificate from a different company will not help, unfortunately). Note that you can continue to use your current hosting company while taking these steps through Cloudflare to enable 100% HTTPS on your custom Storenvy domain.

These are the steps to take to use Cloudflare with Storenvy and custom domains to get SSL for FREE!

1. Create a Cloudflare account and import your domain/website. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/201720164-Step-2-Create-a-Cloudflare-account-and-add-a-website

2. Change your domain name servers to Cloudflare. This change is done in your current domain registrar like GoDaddy. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/205195708

3. Set your SSL/TLS encryption mode to "Full" on the SSL/TLS Overview page.

 

4. Go to the SSL/TLS Edge Certificates page.

Be sure to set TLS 1.3 to "On", Automatic HTTPS Rewrites to "On", and Always Use HTTPS to "On".

After you complete these steps you will have 100% HTTPS on your custom Storenvy domain.
